For The Hollywood Reporter's annual Power Issue, I put together two pages that highlighted the latest watches perfect for the industry's most influential players. Among 2021 watch trends, the increasing use of meteorite for dials felt especially powerful for men's watches, while the best designs in women's watches lately seem to eschew round cases in favor of squares and rectangles, resulting in watches that feel equal parts timeless, elegant and power-worthy. I worked with a wide variety of brands to put these two pages together, from Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Rolex and De Bethune for the men's pieces to Chanel, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Cartier and Patek Philippe for the women's pieces, resulting in two strong, beautiful pages.
