Small Watches are Big on Red Carpets, for The Hollywood Reporter

Let's face it: Some status watches were becoming a bit unwieldy. High-end timepieces featuring cases measuring 48 millimeters or larger had created some hardcore "notice me/notice my watch" moments on red carpets. But now the trend is heading in the other direction, especially as some of Hollywood's hottest actors have become increasingly adventurous with their watch and jewelry choices. For the August 23rd issue of The Hollywood Reporter, I put together a roundup of the newest watches in small case sizes, from brands including Chanel, Cartier, Patek Philippe and Grand Seiko, with many highlighting details that might be considered unisex amid today's gender-fluid approach to red-carpet dressing.
