I'm a huge fan of Aurora James, the Brooklyn-based accessories designer who also is at the forefront of upending the fashion industry by making retailers take notice of Black fashion designers. That's why I was thrilled to talk with her for the June 2022 cover of Business Traveler, to explore her various projects for her eponymous label and her commitment to The Fifteen Percent Pledge, which works with retailers to get Black fashion brands to account for 15 percent of a store's inventory.
