Hedy Lamarr’s history is a pretty amazing thing, so it was a thrill to find out that not one, but two children’s books were being released at almost the same time to celebrate her accomplishments. Long thought of as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women, Lamarr longed to also be known for her brain, and to that end she spent her spare time on a separate passion: inventions.
