For the May/June issue of Celebrated Living, the magazine for the First Class cabins of American Airlines, we explore one of the most-anticipated fashion exhibitions of the year: the opening of “Azzedine Alaïa: The Couturier,” set to open May 10th at London’s Design Museum. A beloved fashion designer, Alaïa was already taking part in the planning of this exhibition when he unexpectedly passed away last November. For this story, I spoke with Alice Black, the museum’s co-director, about the plans to move forward, and the tribute to a man who was equal parts designer and artist.
