For the April 4, 2018, issue of The Hollywood Reporter, aka the Power Lawyers Issue, we explored two themes that already have come out strong for the year: jump-hour watches and, for women, watches with double- and triple-wrap straps and bracelets. Jump-hour watches can be traced back to the earliest watchmakers, who crafted an aperture on the dial to reveal an hour reading (and, in some cases, minutes as well) that looks digital, yet it’s rooted in the oldest traditions or horology. This minimalist look also allows for some truly breathtaking enamel dial treatments. Those double- and triple-wrap straps and bracelets, meanwhile, add a beautiful jewelry element to the latest watches for women.
