Working a red carpet is tougher than it sounds — you’re always on the lookout for who’s making their way down the carpet, often while asking thought-provoking questions of the celeb standing right in front of you, while also ensuring that your interviews are sufficient in both quantity and quality to make a great story happen.
At this year’s New York City Ballet Gala, plenty of A-listers offered up fantastic quotes, from designers Anna Sui and Zac Posen to Broadway producer Jordan Roth and most especially Sarah Jessica Parker, who envisioned the idea for the gala eight years ago and has been instrumental to its success (and her fuchsia Posen gown also was pretty amazing).
