For the 11/18/20 issue of The Hollywood Reporter, I compiled a gift guide that was focused on elements we're all thinking about this year: namely, the themes of calm, comfort and care, from fashion and beauty that's all about pampering and pieces that feel soft to the touch to anything that might simply put a smile on your face. We also highlighted items that included a philanthropic element, plus I added a sidebar of how local businesses -- especially independent bookstores, movie theaters and restaurants -- can benefit from your holiday shopping this year.
